I'm not sure if it's only the Lowe's near me but they stop doing NSF-PW at 2" products.
Anyhow there's a new Lowe's opening on the 2nd hopefully they will have 3" NSF-PW couplings, reducers etc etc.
If anyone notices this too and has other suggestions let me know, I live in a small town and the best within 20 minutes are Home depot's and Lowe's.

(I love McMaster-Carr but the shipping hurts) :(

2" was still -pw last time I checked at my Lowes about a month ago.

20 mins to a Home Depot really isn't that bad although I am spoiled with mine only 5 mins away.

the same thing is happening at my lowes in NE ohio, they no longer stock anything above 2" that is nsf pw, and their variety of fittings has reduced to practically 10 differant items! :angryfire:
"i wonder if i can do that a little lowe- oh apparently no"

"If a little is good.....more is better"

My last words: "Ooooo! what does that do!?!?"

Well I got home depot 5 min away as well, but this one only carries NSF-PW 1" below and the selection is terrible.

Tidbit I must agree on that as well, their fittings has definitely been cut down.

I'll probably end up just doing the fix up in 2" rather than 3" no biggy.

I have noticed that there is more SDR (thinner walled) pipe 3/4" to 1.25" starting to show up at Home Depot and Lowes...no 1.5" SDR unfortunately.

I assume it's a cost saving thing for large construction, like a new home. However it's not like 3/4" sched 40 pipe was that expensive in the first place.

Some of the pressure stuff may be dumbed down for consumer use in the near future. Be scoping out where your local commercial plumbing supply house is. They will carry the good stuff forever.
