Wiki Page on Toolies Valve

I just made a short page on a Toolies type piston valve,
here.
I'm just posting this to ask you guys to read it. I wrote up my understanding of the valve, but of course some others might have issues with this understanding.
Also, if anybody feels the need to add pictures, you can do so. I just finished the article and I have to leave now for errands/work.

Sweet mate that retty much sums it up i think, but as you mentioned pics would be a great addition

don't forget that a toolie valve makes it extremely easy to use interchangable barrels with either threaded adapters or camlocks...
and it performs better than a typical coax and possibly better that a tee type valve....

That's about it. Could add a few performance characteristics but you've missed nothing major. Good job, I'll get you some pictures soon.

Two inch piston.
What it looks like from the inside when it opens. The outer chamber has not been welded on.
This three inch will
not have an outer chamber welded on. The piston face floats on the porting face and will not move out of alignment due the centering washer with holes drilled in it.

With regards to when it starts to open, it would be the same as a coaxial/barrel sealing valve with the same piston and seat diameters.

I have pressure tested the chambers to unregulated CO2 pressure to BAR 52-53. The push to connect tubing I use is only rated to 290 so I keep civilized to 200 psi or so.

hmm good page on it so far... I'd say add ed's pictures though.
Big ed- how do you fill the chamber part? Is the back piston not a perfect seal?
Just wondering becuase it looked like you had o-rings on it for a perfect seal..
