Helps on 2" porting piston valve

So far I've been trying to come up with a 2" tee with 2" porting without using an adapter on the outlet side, but so far that's the only way I can think of.
It's simply 2" sch 80 pipe into the lip of the tee, then 1 1/2 pipe sleeved/glued into that until the middle of of the tee. then with a little bit of the sch 80 sticking out a 2" adapter glued onto that.
Diagram:
Black= 2" tee
Red= Sch 80 2" pipe
Blue: 1 1/2" pipe sleeved/glued into sch 80
Light Blue: Slipx FIPT 2" adapter

This seems like a good idea, but I want to try an house it all in a tee, I'll probably have to move up to a 2.5" tee.

If you do that mate youve got 1.5" porting still just with 2" threads

As carlman said, that only gives you 2" threads, not a 2" (nominal diameter) port that the piston valve seals against...which can't be done in a 2" tee.

What you've done is similar to what I did here:

Ok, We'll looking for 2" threads, prefer port to be around 1.5", is there a way I can go about doing this while keeping it in the tee.

There's really no practical way other than somehow getting it all to work in a threaded tee. If you were to get a larger tee, then there's really no reason not to use larger porting as well...

I say use a modified version of your original plan and don't worry about the little extra length. Simply use two 2" x 1-1/2" bushings in place of the 2" SCH-80, and then modify the back on so that 1-1/2" pipe slides through it.
