GGDT too optimistic?

Hey all- I've been runnin GGDT simulations to try and simulate the paintball launcher, and am wondering if its too optimistic.

For some reason, i can't upload a picture... So here are all the stats,

Pressure 110
Outer D- 1.25
ID-0
Length-3
Barrel Seal
# of valves- 1
Flow coef-20
Seat-.78
Dead Volume-2
Piston Diam-1.25
Piston mass- 1oz
Vent Diam- .2
Pilot volume- 3
Bore-1.5
Length-7
Friction-.5psi
Mass- 2 OUNCES
Diameter-1.5
Initial position-0

It tells me i should get 99 ft/s and ~200 feet. Now this is fine for 2 ounce paintball grenades, but it seems way to optimistic for such a small chamber and low pressure...

What do you think???

You do have a long barrel and efficient valve to compensate for this though, at what launch angle was the 200 foot range calculated?

i did the calculate max range.... it was about 44 degrees

oh that's 7 inches by the way not 7 feet...hoping that was obvious..

Not as obvious as you thought  but still, if it's going at 99 feet per second and launched at around 45 degrees, why not, as long as there's a favourable wind :)

hahahaahah....

it just seems like way too good for a volume of 3.5 cubic inches.

Guess I'm just stupid....

First chamber will be out of steel... because I can't wait for PVC to dry.... then after that it will be all PVC... assuming it is successful of course
