Hello there, im new to this, and me and some friends want to make a air cannon. Nothing too fancy, just something cheap. We got 100psi at school that we can use for anything so that would be our power. Any suggestions on what we could make?

Well, it doesnt have to be a super advanced thing, just something to have fun with on school :P I dont know much about this, maybe you(or someone else) can just come with some suggestions which is not too expensive. If it is any tutorials that would be great :P

Just make a ball valve pneumatic. They are cheap, easy, and provide moderate power. You could step it up to a piston valve, but that is quite advanced.

I tried to make a quick idea in paint for a small gun, would this work?
The nipple is for one of those small air hoses, so i can connect it at school to fill it. How big does the tank thing need to be? And what do i need to make it so it can hold 100psi?

Ok first things first. The tank can be any size you want, but i would recommend mabye 2" pipe, 36" long. Then a 1" (or 1/2") barrel 72" long. You should make it all out of Sch. 40 (or Sch. 80) NSF-PW PVC. LOOK FOR THE STAMP THAT SAYS NSF-PW. This means it is pressure rated.
