i like the second one, do you know the muzzle velocity? im looking for maximum power
and does it push full sized golf ball?
EDIT: nvm

i see your specs now, i think im going to build this, just need to figure out how to build a damn piston valve now

Muzzle velocity was about 160m/s I think, don't remember exactly but I was shooting aout 420-450m with it.
Yes, it fires a full sized golfball.

There are lots of option for building piston valves. The larger sizes are more difficult to get to work. Valve seat imperfections, friction, and forces go up quickly. So do leaks, sticking, and breakage. For this reason many golfball cannons are built with smaller valves.
Study the many designs. Pistons are made from tin cans, plywood, hot melt glue, HDPE (my favorite) and other materials. Remember in larger sizes, small gaps are big leaks.

i dont like leaks >.> at all, anywhere, i have a Sprinkler im throwing away caus it has a small leak, anyways, MrCrowly do you have a GGDT file for your cannon, i think my #s in mine are off, i like to run GGDT be fore i build so i can get the most power, it seems pretty accurate

Did you look at both my links? That's the whole purpose of them, how to build a piston valve.

goin for a 1" to start so i can get it down before i build the GB cannon, heres pics
EDIT: not sealing at all i think i need a different sealing face (currently a bike tube)

How well of a fit is your piston in the piston housing? It looks like either your sealing face it too large, or your piston is too small.

it fits snuggly in my 1" pvc, so it sounds like i did it wrong

If the piston fits perfect in your piston housing, that's good. Why don't you trim your sealing face to the same size as your piston?

well theres 2 answers for that question, the first is, i lost it lol, and the second is it would slip into my barrel the piston is the same size as my ID of my 1"pcv, on another note, just got back from the hardware store, and all the peices i needed cost me 80$ us >.<
