good leak fixer?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

today i finally decided to fix my leaky potato cannon with some tire slime. so i did. questions is: have you done this teqnuic? does it work well? my slime hasnt dried yet but it will soon. if it works for others and if it works for me ill make a how-to.

EDIT:it worked! it fixed the leak but green crap comes out every time i shoot it. i've been washing the green off and it will go away eventually.

Not sure if that will work, but you can never go wrong with JB-Weld.
