How strong would the hammer (not as in a nail hitting hammer) have to be to open a 300psi hammer valve with a bore of 4.5mm? would it be 300 pounds? or could i just use something simple like a strong metal cap gun hammer?

Area of your valve is 0.0246 square inches, so the force on it is 7.38lbs
