Hey guys with holidays ending tomorrow for me i though now would be a good time to upload my holiday project for all to see and comment.

It's a pn12 40mm pvc coax housed in pn 9 50mm the length is ~90cm long. The shrader, pressure gauge and sprinkler pilot are all mounted to a threaded fitting. This is the most expensive piece so i wanted to be able to put it on other cannons or it will let me put other barrels on.

The Wood is all MDF but i for see a paint job in the future.

As you can properly tell i still need to mount the fore grip to the front bracket, and need to epoxy the blow gun to the handel. (atm it's just sitting there)

Yeh it's pretty awesome. I havent done any range testing yet (no place to do it) i'll get a video up soonish. Also The main value is basicly silent at 20psi.

wow thats a nice looking gun! however i think it would cut off the excess bolt, that looks like a safety issue

Thanks man, yeh i was planning on doing that, they do get annoying. But my problem is that i just grabbed them from my dads shed, so in the case he wants them i can give them back undamaged.

hey great gun real clean, i like that.
i am from aus too, sydney to be exact and i was wondering if that sprinkler valve had a guide rod and if it did what did you do with it once you modded it? i recently modded a sprinkler valve and i found that i need back presure on the outlet of the valve for it to release quickly, otherwise it just honks and releasess air slowly.

Hey man. first this is sorta dead but eh i dont care, i'll answere you questions

Yeh it did have a guide rod, it's still in there. I just drilled the pilot hole to the side of it. Then i threaded the nipple, marked where it came through. Filed of the excess. Threaded it back on and epoxyed the S**T out of it.

If you need back pressure it means you need restricted flow. And if your valve needs to be restricted to open with no honking it's because you need a bigger pilot valve. But because you asked about the guide rod, it makes me think that u've taken yours out. If so, this will cause to much air to move into the pilot side on the diaphram closing it again, the honking...
