good/bad valve

hey guys, iv been shopping some parts for my new project it was supposed to shoot marbles until i found this valve (see picture). as you see it has pretty small holes for air to go trough and im not sure it can hold ~230psi.
so the questions are: u think it will have enough air flow for a 1cm inside diameter pipe and u think it can hold the pressure?

Hard to say when there are NO pictures.
Edit: Oh there it is.
Do want to use it as the main valve?

It should hold 230 psi but as to flow, I think 10mm is pushing the limit for decent power unless you have a very long barrel.

@ mrr sorry with the pic had to cut it down but now its there.
@jack ye i might get a smaller barrel or just stick to my plans and fire marbles with other valve
@ MRR again yes i wanna use it as main valve

Have a look
here for an idea of performance with a similar valve and a 6mm barrel at 110 psi

still considering replacing with another valve

You can shoot whatever fits in the barrel
Have a look at
this project, it uses a similar blowgun as the main valve for a high pressure pistol type launcher.

i dont think such small pipes are avalible in sweden
oh and i wanted to make it more rifle like with long range so well see if i keep the valve or replace

I agree with jsr that these kind of valves have bad flow and are more suited for small calibers.
My first tries in this hobby involved a "mouth" blowgun, some needle darts and a shop compressor. The results were definitely superior to lung power. For a little plinking they are good enough.

If you
mod your blowgun for better flow and use high pressures (200-300 psi with a shock pump) in a rifle sized package, performance should be pretty decent with a 10mm barrel. If you want extremely good power though you should consider forking out for a
Quick Exhaust Valve.

ok iv been looking around now and that small pipes are not avalible in sweden so i gotta stick to plans and get a small ball valve and make a spring powered trigger for it
thx very much for all great help and answers =) ill post sketch of it soon, and thx again for all help

I have used a blowgun to shoot .31 cal. (aprox 8mm) pellets as the main valve, and it was decently powerful, but nothing to scream about. It went through only one side of a pop can filled with water at 200 psi.

ok it would have been pretty cool with such small air gun but as i said above i cant get the pipe of 6mm in swe :/ are such small good for long range target shooting btw?

What do you mean by "long range target shooting", how big is the target and at what range?
A small forum etiquette side note, there is no need to double post. If you have something more to add to your last post simply edit it instead of posting again.
