Looking through the list of factors GGDT accounts for, I found this: "Gas leakage from the main valve body into the upper valve chamber (pilot). "

Does this refer to loss of more gas than just that in the pilot volume, meaning the slight loss of chamber pressure before the piston moves back and that becomes negligible?

EDIT: upon reading that again, I realize that my question looks stupid and does not ask what I intended it to. What I mean is: I created a piston for my pneumatic that has sort of a secondary one-way valve on the back end that seals into a nipple and upon piloting prevents any air other than that between the seal and the pilot valve from exiting through the pilot. Will this produce results different from what GGDT predicts?

Yes.

HOWEVER, it effect is so small that adding it was more about an academic excercise than actual results. I wouldn't worry about it one way or the other.

Thanks. The programs must have been a great undertaking, but for the results they yield, they're well worth it.
