Using a 33g co2 cartridge for a qev airgun?

Well a my Dads friend just gave me a load of 33g co2 cartrages that are used in life jackets and wonderd if they would be anygood for use in a 8mm ball bearing, qev airgun
Heres a pic (Shrader valve for size comp)

I suppose that 88g cartridges are easier to get and, thus probably cheaper. Not to mention that their capacity is larger

if they were free and you have them, then use them. I don't see why not !?

yeah, if you have them then go for it.
But you'll run out of them one day. Then it would make more sense to switch to 88g cartridges as they are more popular and thus cheaper.

chop it in half, fill the blunt tip with lead and the rest with foam and you have yourself a serious piece of ammo if you can find a barrel it fits into nicely. (oh yeah and you'd want to make sure they are empty before cutting the end off

)
