looks nice, but can we get a few more specifications? like what size your QEV is, what bore it is, and what ammo you are shooting?

How the hell did you manage to make it that compact? it's as small as a pistol
Good job - that looks great :)

oh you might find this link useful -> http://www.cmatic.it/
It's an italian company selling high pressure push-to-connect fittings and tubing. I am pretty sure that they've got distributors in France
like what size your QEV is
Probably it's 1/4"

True, puts your Heath Robinson device to shame :P :D

Looks and works great, but shame about the delay between shots.

@jsr
build a working semiautomatic gun that isn't a piece of board with springs strapped to it - then we can talk :D
delay between shots
In this case the only limiting factor is the slide valve. Let's face it - it wasn't designed to be switched from one position to the other quick

Dude I swear, you have to one-up everything! This is fantastic Jules! Sorry POLAND, but Jules' is way cooler, its smaller and less powerful but it is sick. Amazing job Jules! This makes me want to build a semi! I say you put 30 bar in and see the damage :D On a scale of 1 to 10, its a 10. You never fail to impress us.
Cheers :occasion5:

wouldn't it also be helpful if you magazine was airtight?

Absolutely, but it's easier said than done. Plus, the gain in performace probably wouldn't be worth the extra hassle.

Whats so hard about a nipple with a spring and a pipe cap? and If the ammo seals well then the power increase would be noticeable

I agree, it would be much more powerful if the magazine sealed properly.

It wouldn't matter, a sealed mag would make dead space and by the time the projectile was moving fast, the air loss would be that same in both instances.

Very nice. It looks to be pretty simple, compact, and functional. However, I can hear that there is a significant delay between shots when the chamber is being refilled...

It does matter, dead space is heaps better than an uncovered hole at your breech. And how is there air loss when the magazine is sealed? answer: there isn't any

ohh damn.. this design fires from a closed bolt... so unless you f### something up the magazine is 100% sealed

ROF is low because slide valve isn't the best trigger...
