brass fitting sizes

what is the fitting size for a blowgun , the side the quick connect would go through ? is it 3/8s or 1/4s

the male 1/4 thread is roughly the same size of the copper pipe that fits inside the 1/2 inch olive with a compression fitting right?
which is about 7mm or 8 mm right?

i just measured one with iphone app ruler its about 11mm

So, paraphrased, you're asking:
"Take, for example, a blowgun on an air compressor. The side which normally is attached to a quick disconnect (auto plug) which you plug into the matching quick disconnect on the air hose, what are the size threads in the blowgun body here?"
In which case, they would be 1/4" NPT. Blowguns have a 1/4" FNPT size (female NPT) and a side which contains straight threads, but which 1/8" NPT male fittings will thread into fairly securely.
