I call this gun the A2. It is the successor to my ARchangel project. It's an electronically controlled pneumatic revolver with select-fire and some other neat features. More on this later... it's been a long day just getting it to work. Here's a picture taken after about 95% completion:
Special thanks to Tech for lots of support with the electronics.

JSR- yes, that is a USG grip. Those guys were nice enough to notify me about Version 2 while my order was still being processed. I'm glad they did, because this grip is awesome. It's very well made and exceeded my expectations.
Tech- So far I've yet to get the braking transistor working but I'll give it a chance when I have time. I'm waiting to get a hold of a small relay that can be driven right from an I/O pin (5V @ 40mA) and that should simplify things. The indexing works fine as is but I do want to sure it up some more.
I'm also waiting on a new ATMega chip with the Arduino bootloader because I managed to fry one of the two available interrupt pins. The new code I wrote was to use interrupts instead of pin polling but since that happened I went back to the old code which seems to work fine regardless.
This gun taught me a lesson in avoiding dead space. I had about 1.25" of 1/8" pipe between the QEV and the solenoid and that threw everything off. Performance sucked hard. There's a direct connection now and the gun has serious power.
Looks much MUCH better than the first version! Very compact and slick. Any thoughts on making this belt fed? It could be nice depending on how many shots your tank is giving you.
