Which would be better?

EDITED POST SO I DIDNT HAVE TO POST AGAINSemi auto or full auto? i have access to slide checks but i cant find popoffs anywhere just wondering

That slide valve looks to be for paintball remote lines so in that case, probably not.
The ones I've seen look more like this:

I've used paintball slide checks to make semi auto guns, I don't see why this wouldn't work with proper adaptors

it will work (provided it's a slide check valve)
The real issue here is would it be possible to build an efficient semiauto out of it
do you know how it is mounted (which side is vented )?
Do you have it or are you considering getting it ?

Though it's likely, we can't always go by a picture. Some sleeve valves only function as on/off valves. But again, since it's for paintball, it most likely vents in the off position.
With adapters it should work, sure, but then you'd be better off getting one with threaded connections so you can make the adaptation easier.
