Hey Guys,

I just found a slightly used MAX 400 PSI compressor for 1/2 price. I have been looking for one for a long time now and finally found one!

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you guys have experience with these? I have downloaded and read the manual and I understand the features and the do's and don'ts (different high pressure fittings, etc). But, I want to find guys who have used these and can give me direct information from someone who has used one.

Thanks!

No experience with it but surely a couple of fridge compressors could do the same job for a fraction of the price?

Mine is the model 1050. But, yes, pretty much the same thing.

Yes fridge compressors can give good pressure. But, they take along time to air up. I have three cannons I need to keep pressurized and one is a 4 foot barrel, 2 inch bore cannon with a 3.5 to 1 ratio. It takes a lot of air. This will keep up going all day.

Oh, one other thing I should point out, I was going to spend a few hundred dollars on a shop compressor anyway (these have a low pressure and high pressure tank) and I got mine for 1/2 price. So, those two things together are why I went this route.
