Hello!
I have just made this tight bolt head, it is very solid, it resists 2200psi:
test:
60bar / 870psi

150bar / 2200psi

after all these tests the cylinder head does not have anything !
I will test until 4500psi !

cool
but you should use water or some other liquid to pressure test stuff

yes it is a good idea!

Definitely fill the system to be tested with water next time. Unless you were trying to create a spectacular failure if it were to fail.
That said, great job on the breech! What are you using for your pressure source?

thank !
I test with water too, because sometimes a system can be liquid-tight but not air
I use a bottle of carbon high pressure (4500psi) of 7 liters to pressurize.
During the test there were only 2200psi in it so I stopped at this pressure.
Just before manometer I have a leaking valve, I must also repair ...
I will do the test at 4500 psi next week

Nice work on the breech! You se pretty confident about your work, that pressure is pretty high

thank you
I intend to do a breech for my PAC "Elurick" that pulls in 3000psi
This one is a prototype, I test the maximum strength
