Piston Brass Air Gun

This is my first gun:
Mostly Brass
Rubber/Aluminum Piston
about 8 inches long
3mm barrel
pumped to 200 fps so far to test, need to buy shock pump.

Let Me know what you guys think( My next project is a bigger version of this)

for some reason after filling the gun, if I wait for a few seconds the pressure decreases. I can't. fond the leaks argh

Have you dunk it in water? Pen gun leaks are typically very small and inaudable, making water testing a must. Or maybe, your equalization space is very small and when you pressurize it, it takes a while for air to seep into your chamber. Same thing happens to my latest a marker gun (not posted) So tell us a bit more about your piston.

my piston is a tight fit, its made of aluminum and rubber, then wrapped in tape

it works now thanks guys, i used jsr's epoxy method and cranked this up to 550psi, it shot a nail into a stop sign from 10 feet away, im surprised

And now everyone who stops at that stop sign will know that you have the best pen gun in the city.
