I read the trouble shooting guide and i tried a few things that i could. basically i was shooting the gun at around 80-120 psi then i unscrewed the blowgun to screw it in straight because it was crooked. then after i screwed it in and tightened everything it leaked out of the barrel whenever i pumped it. so i took the top off wiped everything down put vaseline on as a lube and it still leaks . what should i do?

Why the heck would you put Vaseline in it? That would just screw up the inside. Take the top off and clean it out really good, making sure there aren't bits and pieces of anything inside or knicks on anything.

So is it leaking around the f'd up threads where the blowgun was cross threaded?
Teflon tape might fix it. Plumbers putty might fix it. Or, the valve may be toast because of the trashed threads.

you probably block the equalization hole try fill via the blow gun.

yeah you will need to hold the blow gun open it fills verry slowly but should work and you have to take the fill valve out before firing

Please post some pictures of the valve, chamber and blowgun.
All comments are speculation without some pictures.

is it made by orbit? rainbird?
is it jar-top or none ?
even thought you might have made the hole for the blowgun to go into you can thread brass fitting into that hole w/ teflon of course, then thread your nipple into that, i messed up threading a couple times , and that trick works just fine
