pilot valves

a 1/2 ball valve is a bit much for a 3/4 barrel sealer isn't it ? can someone go over the piloting information please

haha well even though it has a high flow isn't it more efficient to have a airtight check-valved piston and a smaller pilot ?

Having a big pilot to compensate for a shÃtty piston is inefficient
Having a big pilot on a well made (say with a floating o-ring) piston gives you better performance, but you don't lose efficiency.
