Awesome summer time fun!

this is what i do when its hott out and water is nice
the jump doesnt look very high but it is at least 50-55 feet, and yes the steps are at a slant making the jump alot harder
tell me what you think!

Actual height can be calculated within a few feet from the time of the jump to the splash.

50-55 feet seems to be alot. I would say 30feet at best. @ Tech your thougts??

I have not downloaded the video to do a frame by frame time check on the jump. Initial thoughts are a bit below 50 feet.
Handy online calculator;

At 50 feet the time would be;
Speed at impact:17.28 m/s
or 62.22 km/h
Time until impact: 1.76s
As best as I can tell pausing the youtube video, time to splat is about 2 seconds. The claim appears to be valid.

Next time you go bring a ball of yarn or a long piece of string and tie a weight to the bottom. Ive jumped at 50, 85, and just over 100, just dont seem like 50. Maybe its just the video, very cool though dude!!

Everything looks higher when your looking down from the perch, worse in the dark...That 1st story roof looks like 10 at 3AM in a get out here comes my dad hurry! Ahhhh to be 14....
