Hey guys, Im working on a semi auto air rifle but having trouble drawing a blow forward breech design, but i have noticed that a phew people on here are very good at drawing designs and using cad. so my question is (drum roll...) Would it be possible if some one can draw me a design using cad or something else that has measurements so i can use for the build?
I have a Lathe (south bend model 9a made in 1942) a drill press, taps and dies, grinder, dremel and some other various tools.
I'm using this for BBs 6mm
hope im not being rude just asking for something but i need some help!

You're asking for plans...which are practically non existent here.
Try google images for "blow forward bolt", get a pencil and some paper.
A fella with a lathe should know how to do a quick "napkin sketch" and make a part from that.

You're probably thinking that you'll need some specific dimensions to get your blow-forward bolt to work, but if you under stand the concept you'll see it's very flexible. You should probably just eye-ball some designs around the forum to get an idea of how these things function, then you'll surely be able to draw something up. You won't need CAD either, a simple paint diagram should be sufficient

I always saw a blowforward bolt design as being limited to what pipes plugs and sleeves you have, I you should be fine with a pencil sketch

ok, well the last one i built didn't work to well, sometimes it would shoot 2 bbs at the one time or i didn't shoot right but hopefully i can whip up another plan.

Would there happen to be any links to a couple of pages with blow forward diagrams?

Why did you not take Gippeto's suggestion for Google?
All kinds of spudfiles images.

ohh just use an air cylinder + QEV + 3 way combo

But PS, that's the obvious solution. I'm not using it though.

lol let me rephrase that - I would make the wheels round but that's the obvious solution - I want them to be square

No, it's "I'd make the wheels nonagonal for a somewhat smoother ride, but for the circumstances a square wheel will suffice, and greatly decrease costs and labor."
And remember, I might end up making 10 of these a week, I don't want to be machining a feeding block that often.

You guy's don't get it, A potato cannon rarely has use for square wheels.

Either way I thought the wheels on the bus go round and round... not square and square
