i jus built vortex bbmg, i used a 5/16 brake line for the barrel and when i fire it the bbs seem to spread out in a shotgun type pattern. is this because of the fire rate or the barrel. how can i make it more accurate?

ps i dont no if i should have posted this is this category or off topi so sorry

tape the top of the barrel tip, that induces back spin

Thats how the hop-up works on BB guns. it kinda acts like rifleing.

well i try it tommarow on my bbmg, would rifling the barrel help? if so what would be a simple way to do it

There is no simple way to do it, but you can get a dowel rod and hammer a hell lot of nails in it and spin it around the barrel.

longer barrel, make sure theres no burrs at either end of the barrel, you can also cut a thin channel in the end of the barrel on the top so it just cuts thru to the inside a tiny bit then put an o-ring on there, same idea as the tape, just cleaner and possibly more effective if done right
