Are there any advantages/disadvantages of using a QEV+Slide Valve over a Push Button Valve?

Slide valves need some modification to be turned into ergonomic triggers, and tend to gum up if left unused for extended periods. In terms of performance, I doubt you would see a difference for equivalent port sizes.
