Improving copper ball valve cannon

My friend and I made a copper ball valve cannon by following a simple tutorial. I can pump mine up to 160 psi with my bike pump, and it's pretty powerful. I would like to make it even more powerful, and from reading online it seems the ball valve is the limiting factor here. Sprinkler valves seem to be pretty popular here, would a metal solenoid valve work better? I have read about quick exhaust valves as well but I can't seem to find any that would suit my size and pressure. I worry about the pvc sprinkler valves shattering under the pressure.
