So there was a bit more to my day than I may have previously implied. Suffice to say that I was close enough to the 7.1 to see the fault open up. For that (and a bit of story that went with it), I was awarded a trophy with the inscription, "First Place. 7.1 Run For Your Life Sprint".

Thanks. Yeah, life has been a bit of a blur lately. On the plus side, it looks like I get to provide design input into a new facility (assuming the money exists like they're saying it will).

Oh, and I see they're saying we're up over 80,000 aftershocks now.

I'm assuming this was the Ridgecrest ones? Seeing those pictures makes me miss California until I realize how much of a shit day that must have been. Glad you're safe man.
