Hello All,
I have done my own research, reached out to others yet I have no definitive answer, I also find forums confusing and couldn't get an exact straight answer here so I'm reaching out some more.
I am half way through assembling my first steel cannon and have been told not to compress acetylene (which I agree) so I have decided to go for MAPP Gas but have also been told that is unstable also and shouldn't pressure it outside of the bottle or use with ball valves, contradicting everything I've seen on this site and as I'm aware of no one has lost their face.
1. Can I use mapp gas in a ball valved and regulator metring system?
I've calculated I'll need to pressure the MAPP Gas to 3 Bar.
Will I survive?

I'm no expert, but people have used MAPP gas for combustions and hybrids for a long time. There's no issue compressing MAPP gas in a metering pipe for fueling a cannon as long as it's a metering pipe and not some kind of tank where you add MAPP and AIR (or any form of oxidizer) for a pre-mixed fuel source. Pre-mixed fuel containers can be dangerous as hell.

Awesome to hear, and no it won't be a pre mixed source; Gas into metering system up to 3 bar than purged into chamber containing regular air. :)
I started doubting it all because I spoke to some plumbers who are obviously qualified and took safety way to far and said no to everything really.
