Built this for my volunteer FD. We're going to be using it to launch a throwline over a roof and pull over an anchor rope when dealing with flue fires next season.

Is that ABS ? what psi do you run in it ?

Yes. Still working it out, but 100 was WAY too much... Would have cleared a six story building with room to spare.

Good job, PVC is not rated for gas pressure.

Interesting that DWV which has no actual pressure rating is better at using for pressure applications than PVC which actually has a pressure rating but is not actually rated for gas pressure. :?

More important for me is the failure mode. PVC makes sharp shrapnel, most ABS yawns or makes squared off pieces.
