This is my copper piston cannon. I have taken it up to 500 PSI with CO2.

Chamber--3/4" x 68" 30 CI
Barrel -- 1/2" x 70" 13.3 CI
Valve-- Copper Bolt Piston
Special Features-- Made of Thick Walled Type L copper pipe. I have taken it up to 500 PSI with a CO2 Bottle off of a paintball gun.

Holy cow, 500 PSI. If anything goes wrong you will probably end up with a chunk of copper in your side.
I'd really like to see some destruction shots from this gun. It sounds like it would be really powerful.

What is your piston bumper made out of? I imagine that a piston slamming back with that kind of pressure could do some crazy damage to the gun itself.
