Hi. Obviously I'm new here, so forgive me if this is a repost or a n00bish question.

I am trying to build a pneumatic .22 out of some old Airsoft parts. I'm planning on making it a co-ax piston (small piston, about 1" or so). I want to place a blowgun underneath the rifle body, but then it won't be able to attach to the pilot volume. Could I use the steel gas cable-thing that connects CO2 sources to paintball guns? I have one and am wondering if this would work.

Oh, yeah, the Airsoft parts are a sniper rifle body and a milled two-layer alloy barrel. It isn't just crap I found. :)

The hose will work, but it will be hard for you to find adapters to 1/4" NPT for the blowgun.

You could step it up with a few fittings. Get some airline hose.
