you probably know when you put draino water and aluminum foil in a 2liter bottle it will pop the bottle
i was thinking put draino and water in a burst disk pneumatic gun then put your foil in and put the cap on and it can pressures up to 300 psi
dont forget that the reaction produces hydrogen and lots of heat so theoreticaly you should be able to break the sound barrier

I wouldn't try it. I've tried that with dry ice and it didn't work to well.

Explosive device: Any device that has the capability to release large amounts of stored energy rapidly.
Discussion of fireworks as projectiles is prohibited.
Discussion of "soda bottle bombs" or any other similar devices that may cause shrapnel as a result of uncontrolled rupture is prohibited.
do you know what you get when you mix hydrogen, the oxygen in the air and heat?
BOOM

really I made a gun that runs on dry ice and it worked well.

I have used 2 liter bottle/Drano/aluminum noisemakers to launch projectiles out of a piece of steel pipe, it works quite well. I imagine it would work quite well in a burst disk gun.

i wouldn't reccomend it, becasue it is considered a solid fuel, just like combining calcium carbide and water to make acetelene

its not a solid fuel because draino is liquid but you would have to be careful since there are poisons in draino but if it creates enough pressure to explode a soda bottle ~100psi then you could probably use it to try and make a gun.

ive put alot of aluminum fiol balls and the works in my gun and just closed the valve and waited till hit about 90 psi and it worked just as well as if i had powered it with compressor but its more expensive than air so i dont do it anymore lol

I wouldn't suggest anyone doing this. All it takes is a simple Google search to find many videos of this mixture blowing up in the hands of it's creators.
