Yeah it would work but I think you have to touch the wires together for it to spark.

Sounds like it could work... They create pretty good sparks for sure. Just the other day I zapped something with mine and I was like hmmmmmmmm, maybe this could be modded to make and ignition! And they create decent voltage, I've been shocked by one, and it didn't feel very good. I think you should try it.

ya i think it could. and you can get them at harbor frate for 3 dollars.
