Clear PVC Primer?

I have been searching all over for a reliable source to buy the clear PVC primer (poo on purple primer!!!), and was wondering if anyone here knew of a good place to get it. I would assume it would be online, as Home *BLEEP*-O doesn't carry it, nor does Lowes. Searching on Google didn't net me anything of any worth....
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!!!

I live in N.E. USA. It's funny I've never even seen the purple stuff.
I build houses, for a LONG time.

Is it not in the building codes?

Yes ,plumbers use primer but I've never seen the purple stuff. Ever.
Some people are having a hard time getting the clear, must be used in different areas.

I was of the impression that using colored primer was a building code. During the summer I work construction with my friend, and I don't recall a un-primed joints. I believe it is so that inspectors can quickly inspect joints. That is odd that you haven't seen any purple primer though.
