Shell Loading Potato "Rifle"

A basic sprinkler valve gun that's capable of about a shot per 3-4 seconds. I have a few shell or it, just pieces of 1" SDR 21 that are sharpened. The barrel is also 1" SDR 21, so the shells aren't launched. Stick the shell into a potato, put it in the breech, slide the sleeve down, twist to prevent air loss, shoot, slide the sleeve up, and shoot again to eject the shell. I think it's pretty good for a spare parts gun.

The isn't a bolt, and not much air leaks out, maybe a tiny bit. The sleeve is a bored out 1 1/4" coupler.

would be useful for pre-loaded shotshells. I take it the spent shell ejects by gravity?

Nope. The breech is facing upwards so loading is easier. It takes a couple seconds to refill the chamber, so when it's about half full, I slide the sleeve up and shoot, which ejects the shell.

What would be "eaiser?"
What is "pant?" Is it necessary for a "nice cannon?"
