this is my new copper gun.

chamber- 3/4'' copper, about 3 feet long.

barrel- 1/2'' copper, about 46 inches long.

valve- 3/4'' QEV off of Ebay

sights- a scope i found, it appears to be a 4 to 6x scope. i cant be cirtain as there are no markings on it. it is the best scope i have ever seen. it is old, but it is very clear.

breech loading sytem- a coupler that slides of a hole in the barrel. (very advanced, i know)

I am still waiting to buy a push button valve off mcmaster for the trigger. therefor, i have not shot it yet.

i still need to get the trigger set up, but basicly it there will be a tee the botton of the valve and that will have a check valve/schrader valve for filling. then on the open side of the tee there will be some flexable copper tubing, wchich will be attached to a puch button valve for accuation.

i also need to get a pressure gauge on it.

Looks good! In the meantime, just install a Schrader valve on the bottom port of the Q.E.V. to both fill and actuate the valve. Just keep a pin on hand to trigger the valve until you get a blowgun.

where do you plan on getting you push button valve? i could use a couple

Of course a blowgun is also a pushbutton valve if you cut it down a bit

It looks like you've sleeved the barrel all the way along?

Is your scope high enough ? looks like it would nedd an extra 4-5cm ?

How is the breach closed ? well i mean what stops it flying forward ?

That looks good. It Looks like it will have way better power than mine, cause it has a larger chamber. As for plentiful ammo, there are these perfectly round decorative glass marbles that fit perfectly in a 1/2" copper barrel. Go to walmart and look in the section with all that craft stuff. They might have some. Don't forget to bring a short section of copper pipe with you to size the marbles.

the barrel is not sleeved. to cover the hole for the breech i just slide a coupler over it. ive done this with other cannons and it doesnt leak enough to matter, in fact you cant even notice it.

as for the scope, yes it is on perfectly for me. i just pray that i can accually hit something with it.

i have a blow gun, i just want a push button. ill try it later and let ya'll know how it works. accually i never thought of using a blow gun just for testing.

another thing, everything is detachable, the chamber, valve, scope, barrel, ect.

ok, ill confess. i found it at my great grandmother's house, and everyone agreed i could have it.

Could you take some more detailed pictures of the scope, and maybe any markings on it? i think proper identification would add to its value
