Hey I have a Rainbird 1 inch valve, the same one in the post made by pimpmann in the sticky on modding valves, and I was wondering if anyone has successfully modded this particular model? I took it apart just now and it looks doable but the hole would have to be somewhere other than the center due to the manual trigger. Any ideas?

take out the manual trigger and put it in the center

i believe it is the valve that i have and i modded successfully

take a razor knife and cut down one of the things that go from the outside in on the top, then drill hole beside it

worked for me
