Does anyone know if the manual bleed on the orbit 3/4 sprinkler valves is enough to exaust the valve

Yes it technically is enough to exhaust the valve, however a straw can be used to drain a pool and although it will work it will be no where near the performance say if you just cut a hole in it. So Id say mod it.

ill bet you a half carton of grapes it isnt :D

actually, i really dont think it will be, and if it is, it isnt going to have anywhere near as fast opening time as if you just used a blowgun or ball valve.

EDIT: SNM beat me to it. he has sound advice.

i would mod it except ive tried moding two and failed horribly, and i dont want to by one off of bc arms because its not the right type of exsaust valve i want. how badly would the manual bleed affect preformance? the chamber is only 7 inches of 3/4 inch.

All im asking is how well the manual bleed will work, and i dont want to use the solenid setup because i dont like electronics on my cannon, ( that and i cant rig electronics for crap) it melts my brain :violent2:

Well the manual bleed is just that, I think its meant more for a gradual release of the pressure and wont exacttly help performance.

hhhmmmms.

your the person that wants to use this to pilot a sprinkler on a shotgun type thing? right?

well, if your aiming for more of a trigger type setup, instead of a blowgun, you could mod the valve, then put a 90ยบ elbow on it (brass) into a pop-saftey-valve. simply "pop" the saftey valve by pulling on the ring with your finger

I already took care of it... I moded the valve with a 3/8 elbow and ball valve, pics are coming soon
