I remember jack once sayinng "if you really want to get complicated you can have a forward ejecting bolt" I recently saw a complicated double tilting bolt with forward ejection then I realized that since spudgun cartridges are the same size as the barrel it could be much simpler
I think I'm going to make somthing similar only its with a barrel sliding bolt and cartirdges eject backwards at a decent speed matained by the fill of the chammber cause I love how those howitzers recoil like mad then eject smoothly, should I start a new thread to disscus my specific gun ideas

Is the black component driven back by the cartridge or by a separate piston? In the former case, as it is, it would jam...

probebly blow forward bolt or piston sorry for not posting, i lost my computer privlages I'll have to resort to anicent powerpc mac in my basment,

I have made a gun that works kinda like the second pic but is a lot simpler. I wanted to get the firing system working in semi auto before i posted it, the loading and ejecting works.
You guys are getting too close to my design so i better post it now before some one beats me to it
