If it were up to me, I would just use a 1.5" or 2" piep and scatter shoot them. Oh, and don't shoot them at people.

Cool it youngin' new community members are a good thing. We don't need to make 'em feel stupid or scare them away. He already apologized besides, that's not the least valid question I've heard recently...

Good luck on your cannon djbizz. Be careful not to cook/ ignite your paintballs.
Since you seem to be new an important thing to watch out for is if your pipe and fittings have DWV written on them or NSF-pw.
DWV is for drain applications, and is not pressure rated.
NSF-pw is pressure rated, and is safer.
You can get away with using DWV on a combustion cannon, but always keep safety in mind.

Thanks, I'm already in the process of building one with the 2" pipe thanks to rna_duelers he gave me a pretty cool specs on how to build a loud cannon. But i had so much fun building that one i couldn't wait to build a mini one that shoots paintballs.

Ok spudthug,
Now your gonna have to tell me what those are. At this point I only know ABS and PVC.
3/4 sch 80 = Is this some kind of pipe?
3/4 cpvc = What's the c? I only know the pvc part
1/2 sdr 11 = What's sdr?
Pictures or sketch would be helpful. Thanks...

SCH80 stands for schedule 80 and is PVC pipe
CPVC is Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride pipe
SDR is a High-density polyethylene pipe

Actually, SDR-13.5 (yes, SDR-13.5, not SDR-11) is a size of PVC pipe. Its just like SCH 40, SCH 80, etc. This type of pipe is rated to 315 PSI, whether you get it in 1/2" size or any other size as well (I don't actually think any other size of SDR-13.5 exists though). SDR stands for Standard Dimension Ratio.

SDR-11 is HDPE pipe....you can't get SDR-11 made out of PVC hence your comment:
"yes, SDR-13.5, not SDR-11"

SDR is a High-density polyethylene pipe
sdr is a wall thickness not a kind of pipe
SDR-11 is HDPE pipe....you can't get SDR-11 made out of PVC hence your comment:
sdr again is a wall thickness...and yes u can get sdr 11 just not in half inch...i ment sdr 13.5....i made a mistake...
u may want to get better facts before u make a fool of yourself
forgot to add that u cant get other sizes of sdr to...they make sch 40-160 maybe higher but below sch 40 is sdr...sch and sdr are both thickness ratings...
oh and btw cpvc is basically water pipe and is rated to 100 psi..it is a bit wobly so u might need to sleeve it..
cpvc is sdr 11 i think...

Gepard: You are correct that SDR-11 is HDPE pipe... though, I really think spudthug made a mistake is saying 11 instead of 13.5... I could be wrong though.

Well I looked on Google before posting and I couldn't find *any* SDR-11 pipe that was PVC only HDPE
The second post I didn't say SDR was a material I did say that SDR-11 was made out of HDPE and I've yet to find evidence to the contrary.....
