Ok, this must be one of the weirdiest suggestions but has anyone ever shot a spud through a grill to produce (uncooked) fries?

I am ashamed to admit I have tried it.
You end up with one very warped grill (if it holds together at all), and what looks very much more like mashed potato than fries.
Not very impressive.

I shot on through a chainlink fence on accident once. It fell into little pieces and splattered on my neighbor's fence.

I saw a fitting at Lowes that resembled what they use to cut fries with, a sharp circular grid. But it was also inside a fitting. I want to put one on the end of the barrel and fire a potato out of it.
It was a drain of sorts.

wow, spud acceleration could very well be another step foreward for the fast food industry. you could load like 10 spuds and cut hundreds of fries in like 5 minutes.
