I named this gun Atomic Grapeshot because it has a Bio-Hazard sign that I painted on it, plus today I was using it to shoot grapes and they did some serious damage for their size and weight.
these shots were all taken at 70 PSI and around a 15 foot distance.
Stats:
2"x18" chamber
.75"x36" barrel
Sprinkler valve modified for Pneumatic actuation
Whadda yall think? Tell me your likes, dislikes, and any modifications you can think of.

Well atomic and biohazard don't really have anything to do with each other, and I would have jsut eaten the grapes, but well done anyway.

Great gun though. Clean and simple.
No matter how tempting, do not put grapes in the microwave.

Nice gun though, it's a fun gun to shoot. Or maybe I was shooting the bubble soap gun? Or both?
Either way, its verrnice!

Well, I can't see any big disadvantages because it is simply an inline plinkler. As for improvements, i would add a pressure gauge and maybe a breech loader.
I am still amazed that something as harmless as a grape can do such damage to that can.

How dare you use the Biological hazard
.
I have used grapes for year in my guns, they are very good ammo but then again they are in abundance.I have a huge grape vine that grows thousands of grapes each year.Freeze them, they are crazy then...And yes they hurt like HELL if you get shot so don't get the bright idea to do that.

Nice gun! How did the doctor pepper taste before you mauled the can?
I also like how you just took the blowgun directly from the sprinkler valve without pipe and crap.
btw, PVC Arsenal 17, in Africa we call those things in the bucket apples, not grapes!
. LOL, but thats still pretty funny!

really good quote/phrase here
A launched grape is a wasted grape.
Barrels are for potatos
Looks like a well made cannon. The damage needs to be worked on though.
I know theres half a 750ml Dr Pepper bottle somewhere in my garden thats due to join it's other half in my bin as soon as I manage to find where it went after meeting Mr. Potato.
Try freezing the grapes and trying to get them through the can

If you're hitting reliably at 15 foot, that's fairly good news.rednecktatertosser wrote:these shots were all taken at 70 PSI and around a 15 foot distance. <SNIP>

Grapes are good fun to use. But as others have said, freezing them will really improve what they can do.
The other thing you could try is filling the empty cans with water before firing - hydraulic shock is a very impressive thing to watch.
Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.
