Coaxial. 'nuff said. Warning: High resolution pics

This is my first coaxial. I made it, reduced the chamber size twice, extended the barrel once, and replaced half of the union. The forward bushing is messed up, yes, I know. It will be replaced.
Total Length: 5'5" or so.
Chamber: About 2' of 1 1/2"
Barrel: 4 1/2' of 1/2
Valve: Diaphragm housed in a 1 1/2" union
Diaphragm: 1/8" gasket sheet
Exhaust: 1/2 Ball Valve

This is a Co-Axial?
It looks much more like a diaphram gun from the side. Nevertheless it is a very nice gun. You dont see many diaphram guns.
It needs a great paintjob and maybe a handle and it'll be ready to rob a bank

Hey Nice man. I am building a gun just like that. What did you use for a diaphragm?

A co-axial can use a diaphragm valve.
Nice gun btw.

For the diaphragm, look in the post. Thank you for the compliments.

Why the union? It's just another $10 and it's unnecessary. Cool gun though.

What? the union was like USD$2.50 at lowes. I'm wondering where people are getting this $10 crap

It doesn't even cost 10$ for a 2" sch 80 at my lowes
Nice coax
Whats the pvc after the ball valve exhaust for?
@Turbohacker
How long have you been here?Come on all of your posts I see are usually of wrong information.

The union holds the diaphram in place and seals it, so how can it be unnecessary!
This is a Co-Axial?
As MrCrowley said, it can have a diaphram or piston. As far as my knowledge tells me, a co axial just means the barrel is housed in the chamber.
Very Nice cannon though, well done.

Plus, the union lets me "Breech Load". Just unscrew the back and shove your projectile in the barrel.

Good point, never thought of that. How fast can you reload it then?

Takes maybe 7 seconds. It is needed because I don't have anything slim and long enough to muzzle load a 1/2" barrel

OK, thats pretty flipping good! And muzzle loading a 5ft gets old fast

What do you use as a projectile for it?

that looks slightly familiar, i wonder where ive seen it....
anway, nice job on it.
and by the way, i used a union on mine because the only diaphragm i had was too thin and would have been simply sucked into the barrel.

yes,

my valve was inspired by yours. I just used a different exhaust, size, and diaphragm.
