Is double-sleeving a 1.5'' pipe for GBs absolutely nessacary? Wiki said unsleeved GB barrells are too brittle..is this true?

Normal 1.5" (sch 40) pipe has a wall thickness of .19"; 1.5" sdr-21 has a wall thickness of .1".

This does make it weaker, although (especially with short barrels), it's not actually necessary to sleeve it... although it is a good idea.

In Co-Axials its recommended to sleeve it.

If I were you I would at least sleeve the first foot.
