need help with paintball cannon

im building a paintball cannon with a 20in long 1.5in barel i dont know how big of a air chamber to make using a 1.5in pipe please help

If you plan on making the chamber with the same size pipe, mak it as long as the barrel. You really should use larger pipe though.

what pressure d you plane to take it to?

i would say about 15 inches would be good at 100 psi.

if i use a 2 in pipe would it need to be roughly half as long i plan to take it to about 100 psi to 125 psi no more than that also can i use a regulator from a autobody paint gun im not sure wat there rated

Are you planning on regulating CO2? If so, you need a regulator specifically made for use with CO2.

maybe im unsure at this point i might just use a 12 gram co2 converter for it im still in the planning stage and want more info what do u recommend i would like to regulate co2 for the higher rate of fire

Well, regulators from air tools have a pressure limit of about 200 psi, so you can't use one to regulate CO2. You would have to buy a beverage or paintball reg.

are u talkin about like a beer keg regulator i just dont have $100 dollars to put towards just a regulator i might try ebay
