Re: Spudchukker III - Vented Piston Hybrid build log

Just a quick question here, how did you take care of the little weld nub on the inside of that 2" 3inch galv steel pipe that your piston moves along?

Re: Bolt-Action Aluminum Hybrid Piston Valve: Al-50

Re: First hybrid build

So I am considering my pitons design, and I'm thinking1 what parts do you guys use to put your pitons together? My other question is about the the piston exhaust I've been looking into that part of it and I just can't figure it out. I was considering buying a piece of 2 inch solid steel that's 4 may...

Re: First hybrid build

Re: First hybrid build

I plan on taking it to 15 maybe 20x but I think it be a very good idea of preasure testing before those levels.

Re: First hybrid build

My other question is what is the best way to preasure test this thing, my idea was to take one of each part that's in my gun connect them all together then, pump it full of hydronic fluid till it breaks. How do you guys do it?

I looked into that universal spark strip but my only concern is weather the curent will pass through the bolts or just electrify the whole damn and ...
