I never said "self sustaining" or "perpetual motion", just to be clear. Yes it is an energy conversion. Electricity is being used to make more fuel for the engine plus an added oxidizer. Gasoline is not as cheap as water (water's free where I live).

Very interesting points about the energy losses. However, if we had a big enough generator to actually run the car, independent of gasoline, the engine would not require all of the gas, all of the time (when the car coasts or decelerates to a stop). The energy loss is still a valid point though ...

Ahh yes, cleaning the griddle. I used to be a chef at a Bistro and we had this crazy stuff to clean the flat-top. It was so strong it we had to use it after we closed because of the smell. It worked really good though, probably would eat the soles off your shoes.

I would consider improving flow from the valves to the barrel. It looks rather constricted at this point. A manifold made of 2" might help out. I as well think you should use a fourth sprinkler valve to trigger the other three.

Why would you even want to "expect it to fail"?

Well, I remember, years ago (maybe 8 years or so) there "was a gas price war" in eastern Canada. At that time I remember paying something like $0.12/liter. Seems like it was almost free looking at the prices today.

I don't see any problems, the epoxy is pretty much only a sealant for that application. You should be fine, just as long a the bushing stays in place.
