In chemistry, a combustion reaction is the exothermic reaction of a fuel with an oxidizer. In spudguns, this is the reaction that fuels combutions and hybirds. It is ussually a reaction between a hydrocarbon (propane or butane) and atmospheric oxygen, to produce CO2 and H2O
