What about a can of lighter refill?
It sais its high quality butane

Thats what I used to use before the starter fluid, however I have found that the starter fluid gave me more fire power and was more reliable. Its cost roughly the same as butane too. the best thing to do is get a few different fuels and work out which one you like and is most effective.

you can use lighter refil can i think.

I use a small refil can for Weller Gas Solderin Iron ( Gas Soldeerbout )

And put a modified Silicon straw spray nozzle on it. ( siliconen spray, en dan die type met zown dun rietje )

Works very good ! it cost 5,50 euro's for 75ml.

I really wanna build a propane metering system...
The point is I need to get a proper propane tank + adapter for it.
I cant find it in the stores over here...

Do you guys know some good websites selling that (shipping out of US) for a fair price? Or got some other suggestions?

I could not agree more, I use M.E.K. in my Minis and Butane in my larger combustions.

It's all got to do with what works good in a particular gun.

Careful with MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) in a PVC gun. It will melt the PVC. Granted, the amount you use is very small but nonetheless some of the MEK will diffuse into the plastic.

IIRC, MEK is frequently listed on the cans of PVC primer and glue.

well i tested yesterday with the little fan.

and it works ! normaly when i shoot, and open it, there's no or not much smoke. But when i use the fan, shoot, and open it.. there comes a little smoke cloud out.

so i think its working

I only use it in non-PVC guns, i.e. aluminium and acetal.
