almost busted head

almost busted my head open by my eye today when i was drilling a hole for my spud gun and the bit stopped and the battery part came flying around and hit me in the head really hard.

I was drilling a hole in a piece of wood with a 7/8" butterfly bit at high speed when the bit grabbed my gloves I was wearing and crushed my hand. Not much damage except pain the rest of the day.

I was drilling a regular hole in the side of a coupling, and it bit when it got halfway through and spun the drill slamming into my hand. Blood blister on the back of the hand hurts. The entire drill and bit came out and sliced the nail/ring finger on my left hand.

You mean in a cleanout cap? So the igniter is at the back of the gun or are you drilling through two layers of PVC where the end cap joins to the chamber? Because its not recommended to stick the igniter in the back of the end cap
